Experience Requirements

Newborn Care or
Doula Roles

A minimum of 5 years supporting families in the newborn or postpartum season

Relevant certifications and specialized training (NCS certification or equivalent)

Exceptional references demonstrating expertise, discretion, and high-quality care

Savvy Sitter Club Babysitting Roles

Minimum 2 years of childcare experience or demonstrated experience supporting children

References showing dependability, warmth, and initiative

Long-Term
Nanny Roles

Minimum 3-5 years of childcare experience across varying ages

Strong references reflecting reliability and professionalism

Asked Questions

  • CPR and First Aid certification (infant and adult) are required for all positions. Other certificates may be necessary for certain roles such as newborn care or special needs positions. We can also guide you toward training resources if needed.

  • After your application, references, and screenings are complete, you’ll be approved to move forward. The screening process typically takes a couple of weeks.

    From there, matching depends on family needs, scheduling alignment, and overall fit. We advocate for you and work intentionally to create strong matches, but placement timing can vary.

  • Absolutely. Long-term placements may be part-time or full-time, depending on the role. We also offer temporary positions and flexible sitter opportunities for those looking for short-term or as-needed work. We’re here to help you find what fits your current season.

  • We work with diverse families! From those welcoming a new baby to households managing full school schedules and daily demands. Whether the need is consistent support or occasional care, we focus on intentional matching and clear communication.

  • Absolutely. We remain available for guidance, growth conversations, and professional support long after placement. We are a community here and we grow together.
