When I began nannying professionally more than 16 years ago, I had no idea it would shape the course of my life. I simply knew I loved being in the heart of family life. The routines, the chaos, the car conversations, the small victories, the hard days.
I learned quickly that exceptional care is not about perfection. It is about presence. About paying attention. About showing up consistently and caring deeply. Supporting families in a way that allows everyone to thrive became my calling.
Over time, I realized I wanted to do more than serve one home at a time. I wanted to help families and caregivers find each other. That desire led me into agency work and eventually into ownership.
In 2023, I had the honor of acquiring Capitol Park Nannies, a trusted agency that had served Sacramento families for more than 13 years. Stepping into that legacy felt deeply meaningful. I thoughtfully carried those relationships and standards forward into what is now The Savvy Nanny. Two strong communities woven together into one intentional home.
Today, The Savvy Nanny is built on the belief that we become the village by caring well for one another.
Rooted in Northern California, shaped by real experience inside family homes, and guided by deep respect for both families and the professionals who support them.
I have sat at kitchen tables with exhausted parents. I have celebrated milestones with children I still adore. I have coached nannies through contract conversations and career growth. Some of the caregivers I work with have become lifelong friends.
This work is deeply meaningful to me because it is personal.

Savannah Holland
Owner & Director of Placements | Nanny Coach
Savannah has spent over 16 years working closely with families as a professional nanny and family assistant. In 2022, she founded The Savvy Nanny LLC, and shortly after in 2023 she got the privilege of taking over Capitol Park Nannies & Staffing who had been serving families in Sacramento for over 13 years. She was able to thoughtfully merge both communities into one unified agency serving California.
Her mission is simple: support families with clarity and intention, and honor the professionals who make homes run smoothly.
Savannah brings real-world experience, mentorship, and thoughtful advocacy to every placement. She believes the best care happens when expectations are clear, communication is strong, and everyone feels respected.
Savannah has called Sacramento home since 2010 and loves this community deeply. You will likely find her wandering local shops, enjoying a midtown restaurant, cheering on the Kings, hosting a game night, camping, cooking something nourishing, or curled up with a good book. She proudly considers herself solar-powered and is known to call just about everyone “sunshine” a nod to growing up in sunny San Diego.
